It’s been quite a while since I went on a long trip. The last out-of-state trip I took was last summer’s family trip to Vegas, but the last multi-state trip I was on was nearly a decade ago. Vegas is a decent hop from Southern California, but I’ve been thinking a longer trip would be fun. I’ve yet to really experience the east coast of this country, so that would be a trip I’d like to plan out and go on for a long vacation. How do I get there?

It would be a super long drive and perhaps an RV rental would be fun, but I’d likely be taking a solo trip, so a train trip or flight is what I’m thinking. I don’t mind flying, but I’ve never been on a cross-country train ride. That’s what I’d rather travel in for a long trip. What about you?

Would you rather drive across the country in an RV or go by train?

If you could choose only two movies to watch ever again, what would they be?
This is a really tough question. I love quite a few movies. Only two? Alright…Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn and Much Ado About Nothing

What have you found to be the best way to relieve tension?
Relaxing with a good book.

If you went to a beach and it turned out to be a nude beach, would you stay and go swimming? Would you swim nude?
I don’t normally swim at beaches, so I might stay, but not swim.

I was just thinking that if I had to list out things I would like to learn, it might look like the following. In no particular order, here are…

10 things I’d like to learn

1. To pilot a real airplane
2. To play guitar
3. To play piano
4. Japanese
5. Chinese
6. (Fluent) Perl
7. To draw
8. Sign language
9. Who’s a great match for me
10. If Earth is being visited…and by whom…

The Saturday Special:

~My Favorite DVD Movie Is~

  1. In Drama? Stand By Me. The believability of the characters is what I remember (I was around the same age as the characters at the time.)
  2. In Comedy? Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. I saw this at a pre-release screening. I wore out that VHS tape from playing it so much. Allllllllrighty then!
  3. In Mystery/Suspense? Seven. I’m almost afraid to mention it.
  4. In Action/Adventure? The Matrix. It’s going to take a lot to topple this movie off the top of my must-have DVDs list.
